1. There is no conservative party
There is a Republican Party. The purpose of the party and its politicians, much like that of its Democratic counterpart, is to obtain money and privileges for its major donors. That doesn't mean that its members don't have other ideals and agendas, but Republican politicians who rise high enough come from an urban and suburban establishment that is more liberal than its base.
Expecting them to care as much about your issues as you do is unrealistic.
They will only do the right thing insofar as it helps them
A. Get control of money
B. Advance their careers
C. Become popular
And this is a good thing. It means that they're controllable. It means that the Democrats are also controllable. And this is how the left took over the Democratic Party.
The only way to interact with the large body of politicians is through the carrot and the stick. The "destructive" Republican saboteurs the establishment complains about, whatever their motives, are serve as the stick, undermining and sabotaging efforts to conduct business as usual.
The only way conservatives can get anything done now is by threatening business as usual.
Washington D.C. is never going to be the solution, but to the extent that its business as usual is threatened, sabotaged and held hostage, it will have trouble putting its boot on ordinary people. Until the Republican establishment changes its ways, populist saboteurs are the best conservative weapon.
Don't expect them to do the right thing. Don't be disappointed when they don't. And certainly don't expect them to solve all this.
The only way they will ever do the right thing is if you have leverage over them.
2. Fight the small stuff
You don't have to think in terms of a national movement. You don't even have to think in terms of an organization. Those are things that we need, but you can fight the left in small ways at home.
I'm not talking about Sign X or donate to Y.
Just obstruct any liberal initiative, policy or program in your community. It doesn't matter what. It doesn't matter if it's innocuous. It doesn't matter if you agree with it.
Undermine it on principle. If you can, vote it down. Encourage others to vote it down. If you can't, look for ways to tie it in red tape by attaching other agendas to it.
The left wins its biggest victories at the planning stage. Its activists come early and stay late. They propose their plans, rig meetings, use kids and the elderly as human shields, and get their way. They are not used to any real opposition. Particularly the kind that doesn't bluster, but finds ways to tie their proposals in knots, to make them expensive and drag them out as long as possible.
Oppose them when you can. Concern troll them when you can't.
If you don't have that kind of position, think of the origins of the term 'sabotage'. Workers threw their shoes into machines and stopped the machine. Don't do anything illegal. Don't do anything that will get you fired.
But if you have the opportunity to make a liberal program work badly, if you have a legal way to put more stress on it, to tie up the energy and time of the people running it, to make it worse... do it.
We're the underdogs. We're the political guerrillas. This is not our system. It's their system.
Our job is to make it run as badly as possible.
Henry David Thoreau wrote that there's always injustice in government just as there's always friction in a machine. It's when injustice becomes dominant in government, then friction has its own machine.
The left's friction is now the machine. Get your shoes in the machine. It already runs badly, make it run worse. It already costs too much, make it cost more. You are now the friction. With enough friction, the machine breaks down.
That's part of what the left did to us. It dragged down our government and culture. It poked a thousand holes in everything. It made it too tiresome and wearying to go on doing this and that. Morale withered, confidence broke down and the left took over.
Now it's their turn to be on the receiving end.
I'm not going to give the Mario Savio speech...
That's for younger people. It's for a mass movement.
But you can wear down the machine in a thousand different ways without risk. You don't have to throw your bodies on the gears. You just have to be a wholly legal burden on it and a pain in the ass of the people running it... and especially the people planning it.
The big stuff begins with the little stuff. When you fight the little stuff, the big stuff starts breaking down.
3. Deny legitimacy to the system
Liberals like to crow that ObamaCare is the law of the land. Now it's gay marriage. Tomorrow it'll be a ban on the Dukes of Hazzard.
All that implies legitimacy, order, a legal system. And that's not what we have.
What we have is a Supreme Court and a White House that acts with brazen illegality. ObamaCare was illegally passed. It was illegally preserved.
No matter how many judges sign off on it, it has no legitimacy. It will never have any legitimacy.
America is built on the simple premise that no system can be more legitimate than its natural laws and founding premises. It does not matter how many judges or politicians try to suspend the First or Second Amendments. All they are doing is removing their own legitimacy.
When a system acts illegally, then its dictates are not the law of the land, they are the law of force.
ObamaCare is coercion. Forcing people to participate in gay marriages is coercion. The FHA ruling is coercion. We may be compelled into compliance, but compulsion is all it is. It isn't law or justice.
The distinction is important.
When we follow the law, we do so because it is right. When we are coerced, we are at gunpoint by an illegitimate system. Those who compel us are not any different than criminals.
Not only is the system illegitimate, but it is also inconsistent, though it claims there is equality under the law, is favors some at the expense of others.
The system is not only illegal, it is also hypocritical and corrupt. That must be emphasized at every turn.
Liberals maintain a narrative that their way is the inevitable path of progress. We know the truth. Their way has been tried and it failed a thousand times. The only thing inevitable is their eventual failure. Their systems will always be abusive, dishonest and corrupt.
They will always turn undemocratic no matter how they start out. They will always turn to coercion.
When we act and when we talk it is vitally important that we distinguish between the legitimate laws we follow and the illegitimate laws we comply with.
This may seem like a technicality, but it's a technicality that tyrannies have fallen on.
Every liberal victory is not a triumph. It is another pile of dirt on their own graves. It is another straw on the back of the camel. It is another demonstration that they are corrupt and illegitimate. Their latest victories were gained by abusing the process. They will in the long run lose them just as criminals eventually lose their loot. They have not defeated us. They have corrupted themselves.
4. We're not done
Every conservative these days seems to have a tipping point for when America will end. None of them are real.
This country was built out of a tiny fraction of the territory and population it holds today. It was built by a handful of people organizing and rousing a movement that spread to a minority of the population at the time.
If the revolution were happening today, it would look a lot like the way it looked then, with major cities in the hands of the establishment and the Loyalists and a handful of farmers that even their formally trained commanders held in contempt fighting against them and the might of an empire.
That's not coincidence. It's the whole of human history.
During the Revolutionary War, the entire rebel population of America would be outnumbered by the residents of Manhattan today.
Demographically outnumbered? They had it worse.
Economic collapse? They had it worse.
America isn't over until it's over. It will take a long time to happen. At some point the country will be completely unrecognizable, but that's relative. Would Washington have recognized America in 1952? Or even 1882? America has always been changing. We can't change it back, but we can change it to.
That's the real battle.
Contrary to what some conservatives like to believe, the left did not suddenly show up here in 1963 or 1905 and disrupt a formerly peaceful country. The left has always been here. It's a part of us.
No people and no country are untouched by evil. It's only a matter of what form it takes. But in any form, we know it by its destructive instincts, its facade of righteousness that poorly conceals a lust for power. Americans have fought it before. Americans have won.
It's big now, but it's not nearly as big as we think.
5. A little rhyme and reason
I'll close with a few selected lines from a children's nursery rhyme from the days of the big bad USSR that once threatened the world, before folding under the pressure of its people who found the courage to stand up to it.
It's written for children... but like much that was written in the USSR, it had a message for adults.
The Monster Cockroach
Kornei Chukovsky
To the picnic they all come,
Munching candy and cake,
In a very merry mood,
For a day at the lake.
Then suddenly they grow numb and still!
Who's that coming down the hill?!
A fierce and dreadful Roach!
A mean cock-cock-Cockroach!
"Don't you dare to approach!"
He roars, he rages:
"I'll lock you in cages!
And swallow you ALL
"Or with a twitch of my mustache,
I'll turn you all to succotash!"
Alas! Not one dares to fight,
Every bird and beast take flight!
Now the Lion climbs a hill;
From there he speaks his royal will:
"We must regain our happy land!
Against the brute we'll take a stand!"
"And to the warrior who fears not this foe,
Who this monster will overthrow,
To him I'll give a juicy bone
And the finest pine cone!"
The creatures in one eager crowd,
Surge forth and cry out loud:
"We do not fear this nasty foe,
With tooth and claw
We'll lay him low!"
And they all rush to do battle-
Birds, fish, fowl, and cattle.
But the Roach moves his mustache
And bellows: "SUCCOTASH!"
One and all they beat a retreat.
The enemy they don't defeat!
Into the fields and woods they dash-
Terrorized by the Roach's mustache!
The Lion shouts: "What a disgrace!
Come back! Come out and show your face!
Pin the enemy with your horns-
Bulls, rhinoceros, unicorns!"
But each in his hiding place stays,
And wails: "Horns aren't cheap these days..."
And our skin is precious too-
What you ask we cannot do!"
Caught in nettles the crocodiles twitch,
And the elephants get caught in a ditch.
Lo! All that's heard now
Is the flow of tears;
All that's seen now
Is the trembling of their ears!
To the Cockroach they all yield-
He's now lord o'er wood and field.
He struts about among them,
Rubbing his tummy,
Looks at their young ones
And says: "How very yummy!"
The poor, poor parents
Are in distress.
Their dear babes
They hug and caress:
For what mother could give up her child,
Her baby tame or her baby wild?!
So that the monster could devour
Her precious crumb, her little flower!
So mommies and daddies moan and cry
As they bid their infants good-bye!
But now we see another picture:
a flighty flying nimble creature-
A carefree Sparrow lands with a trill
right there on the Roach's hill,
And for a moment all are mute
Fearing the mustachioed brute:
"A monster?! Where?!
"It's a roach, a roach, a wee-bit roach,
A little beetle you fear to approach.
Look! It's a midge a mite,
A bug that can't even bite!
For our trouble we're to blame!
What a shame!
What a shame!"
The Hippo then comes forth
With slow pace and a worried face,
Muttering in an anxious way:
"Please go away, go away!
Your words will make him very mad,
He may think of something very bad!
Then the Hippo falls still,
Surprised by a sudden trill...
The sparrow bends her dainty neck
Peck, peck, peck-
Not a smidgen, not a speck!
The roach is swallowed in a flash,
All of him and his mustache!

That's for younger people. It's for a mass movement.

Outstanding post, Daniel!
ReplyDeleteNow ain't the time to retreat. We may be surrounded but in reality they are the ones surrounded. As long as there are some who don't stop fighting for what's right and just, it is never hopeless.
What an insightful post Daniel, kudos.
ReplyDeleteWe are in a phase in history where the squeaky wheel truly is getting the grease, are we not ? May the OWS crowd live long enough to become an embarrassment to their children.
The most crucial matter before the current crowd of candidates is the quality and character of the people they would nominate for our courts and agencies... I wonder if any of the pundits will even ask them to explain how they would find nominees to high positions.
Yes, definitely a popular poem during my Soviet childhood... I will take comfort in your optimism - hope this is the beginning of the end for the leftist vermin...
ReplyDeleteAs a child, I lived through the struggles of my family with the Communist tyranny in the USSR. My parents and grandparents made the many steps you mentioned resisting this tyranny trying not to cross the line to get noticed, arrested, and sent to Siberia. But their main focus was to educate their family and friends about the truth and about Zionism. Their goal was to live USSR to go to our homeland in Israel.
ReplyDeleteThe situation here in US is different. If we do not fight the growing left, we will not have anywhere to go -- there is no other country, besides Israel for the Jews, that stands for the American values. If we do not take the stand and fight for American values, we will be defeated. I am afraid that we are at a stage that merely taking small steps to resist the left is not enough. We need to take stronger steps even if it gets us fired or in legal trouble. It may take a new American revolution to bring back American values to this nation, and we need to be ready to make these sacrifices.
Great post Daniel. Instead of reasonable discussion, it seems we have entered a phase of the squeaky wheel getting the grease. Children have known for years that a tantrum is often rewarded, maybe not always, but often enough to make one at least worth a try.
ReplyDeleteOur current corrupt and cynical system could be much improved by a few honest journalists, who will only become honest when their dishonesty is no longer rewarded.
Dear Daniel,
ReplyDeleteThank you for this article. I have been practicing this sort of thing and it works. We can't wait for a Messiah President to arise and fix everything for us. We can fix it ourselves.
It's fun.
Just say no to intolerable behavior. Nip it in the bud everywhere you meet it. No need to raise your voice.
Fix the building you live in. Fix the street where you live.
The Crowd is Untruth.
God Bless You, Daniel.
Just a tourist visiting for the first time. Thanks for the good laugh.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the gift of hope this dark day.
ReplyDeleteA devoted reader,

You're right. There is no "conservative" party, just a party with the misnomer "Republican" that tags along after the Democrats on any issue you care to name: the composition of hot dogs, gay marriage, Obamacare, the proper length of miniskirts, and whether or not Obama has wings. Pitiful and contemptible. It's a "follow my leader" kind of party, the leader being the Left/Progressives.
ReplyDeleteSome pointers on how to "deny legitimacy" would be appreciated. Otherwise, it's just more talk.
ReplyDeleteGreenfield, this is masterful. At last you write of salvation and hope. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteMay God bless you and keep you and make his face to smile upon you.

When I was elected to the Massachusetts Senate in 1972, Defeating a Democrat incumbent by 9 votes in a 4-1 Democrat district, I was fresh out of college, and making $38 a week as a part-time security guard. My dad was a school teacher, my mom a part-time dental assistant. As a senator, my income was the salary, which rose from $12K when i started to $28K when I retired as Republican whip, plus after I rejoined, about $2k a year from the Marine Reserves. When I decided not to seek reelection after five terms, I had the money I had saved from my tax refunds, $5,000 I made selling my two-bedroom, one-bath house, and had to pull my contributions from the Massachusetts retirement fund to buy a house in Tallahassee. as far as I know, nothing I did as a senator made anyone rich. The only "junket" I took in ten years was to the garden spot of Springfield, MA for a hearing for a committee I was on. I guess I just didn't understand how it was done. ReplyDeleteBrilliant article. The bogeyman of political correctness is no different than the "roach". Why is it that when it comes to defying the insanity which now pervades society people have less courage than that little sparrow?
ReplyDeleteSimon Raban, some of this reminds me of the Free Speech era of the 1960s and 1970s. It is odd how the sides are changing to day. Let the liberals be themselves and they will soon begin to turn on each other in the name of "ideological purity". The Left lives to destroy. If we on the traditional side seem to be defeated, the Left will be itself and turn on each other. Each grievance is far more important than the other person's grievance. They will over time drive away those who were early and eager participants.
ReplyDeleteExactly right.
ReplyDeleteThere is endless natural drama on our small pond year round, as vignettes of life and death, birth and struggles to survive unfold. In the spring, when the geese are just nurturing their newly hatched goslings, the hawk stalks and waits for his chance to scoop one up. It would be a slam dunk except there is a tiny bird that dive bombs the hawk which is ten times the small bird’s size and often successfully evens the odds. Watching this stunning bravery one day I wondered what made this possible and then I realized, while the hawk’s size, powerful countenance and aggressive behavior is fearsome, it’s also the hawk’s vulnerability. The small bird easily outmaneuvers the big hawk and wears him out until he flies off.

ReplyDeleteI am a public high-school teacher. One teacher booked our little theater and invited CAIR to come speak. I was appalled. I wrote our principal an email basically citing CAIR's ties to Hamas, how members of the House of Representatives and the Senate named CAIR as unindicted co-conspirators in a terror finance trial, that the United Arab Emirates listed CAIR as a terrorist organization (and, I added, you can't say that the UAE is islamaphobic), etc. I even outlined how some of CAIR's employees had been arrested, and I even went on on the Twitter page of the CAIR speaker and wrote some damning quotes from the speaker that showed support for the Hebdo shooting. To make a long story short, it took some effort and meetings but, finally, CAIR was not allowed to speak. As a matter of fact, the principal only decided to take action the very morning that they were to come to speak. My classroom faces our quad such that I can see the administrative office, the little theater and the parking lot. That morning, I saw two CAIR speakers walk to the principal's office (not the theater). I also saw them walk out. They looked despondent and angry. ("How is it possible that we are not allowed to speak here?", I imagined them saying.) They went back to the parking lot and left. The teacher who organized this came to me to "have a discussion". At the end of our "discussion", he said, "You can't change the world." (Funny, coming from him who organizes these speakers and organizes students to protest "Black Lives Matter" style on our campus, etc.) I replied, "No, I can't change the world, BUT..I CAN change my little piece of it." I smiled. He walked away. It feels good to win one every once in a while. So, yes, to paraphrase the lefty greenies: "Think globally, but act locally."
DG writes that "Tomorrow it'll be a ban on the Dukes of Hazzard". That is already banned on Amazon.com. I say how long before the first Christian Church is sued for refusing to perform homosexual marriages? And it will not be a mosque that is sued.

Deny legitimacy - the time for going Galt (?). Sounds good to me. Live well and pay as little as possible to the takers - live for love, friends, "do no harm, do good", educating self and loved ones, artistic expression, do not live for money, don't increase personal wealth above what is needed to be able to live, pay as little as possible into the "system".
ReplyDeleteI think I will spend some time to figure out ways to quietly and safely throw monkey wrenches into the sorry system that is being forced on us, give up as little as I can to the coercion, and have some fun with whatever days I have left on this earth.
After the latest Leftist's assaults I am hearing more and more normally restrained writers on these here intartubes becoming less and less ....... circumspect.
ReplyDeleteThere is recognition dawning that the Left means the rest of us ... harm. Not to control or weild power but actual physical harm. The Leftist way always end up in the Gulag.
Frankly, I ain't going.
ReplyDeleteThat Obama lit up the White House in rainbow colors in honoring the gay marriage coup is outrageous seeing 300 million American oppose same sex marriage. But he placed two lesbians on the imperial Supreme Court and this decision was really a plot long in the making.
And he was also tweaking anti-gay Russia and the Republicans with this flamboyant light display. And it proves what I've maintained for quite some time now. That our government is now run by the gays.
In my research of G-d and Judaism my conclusion is that this shameful act FOREVER defiles the White House.
That house is now doomed as its imperial occupant thumbed its nose at G-d without consulting the people. Obama, acting like the intolerant gays that leads him by the nose, knew what the answer would have been. That Obama is a Muslim bent on destroying America seems evermore possible every passing day. I hold very little hope for the survival of America and in the coming years I, like many others, predict we will be astonished at the things that will come to pass. Since we stand before G-d we are just like the other empires that became infested with gays and saw their SHOCKING, but timely end.
For it is clear to me that G-d has become our enemy. And while some of you may snicker and say where is the fall He does not jump to judgment. He waits and yearns for repentance while He prepares. He gave warnings to Sodom for 52 years. He takes no pleasure in destroying His creations but once it starts it is done with FURY.
The Muslims and Russia will harden their attitudes because of this infamous act. People speak of the U.S. supporting Israel but holy Israel will now start to subtly withdraw from us and draw closer to Russia, And according to the way I look at things this is one of the worst blows of all.
The cultural war, which the left has been winning will now really heat up. The left is now boldly ridiculing those on the other side. Their true faces are becoming evident. The right didn't know how much hatred they were facing, nor did they know the "anything goes" character of their opponents.
And the left which has fanned the racial divide in a move to firm up their base will be astonished at the exodus of the anti-gay blacks.
Where, before if you told me you were in favor of these radical changes I would have thought it just needs to be debated. After this latest sneaky, low life blow to my beloved country if you stand behind these evil iniquities that frame mischief with laws, I got my eye on you. Yea, I will use the that the study of G-d has taught me to wage war like you have waged against Him and the likes of me. You are now seeing a different person when we first met.
From now on every left leaning person I meet I will consider it my duty to prove that G-d and His counsels are the only way on this earth. And like you've mocked me I will now turn the tables. I will take on all left leaning comers. I'm going to reveal you to yourselves. And you will not like what you see. And how you arrogantly failed G-d and tried, no insist, on bringing others down with you.
Daniel,
ReplyDeleteI can't speak for anyone else. Nor will I say what I'm considering in response to this series of abominations by the Supreme Court. However, I will note this: the left has made a bitter, bitter enemy of me and they've made me consider things that I would never have considered before. We're not far from the Calvo Sotelo moment now.
I'll note one other thing: the Spanish Civil War had 2/3 of the fatalities come in the camps as both sides deemed it better to kill their ideological enemies than try to reeducate them. The lefties have long mistaken kindness for weakness. They're about to find out that wasn't a smart move.
Everybody's perfect, nobody was born on purpose, we're all gonna die. Calm down.
ReplyDeleteSuggestion #1: Interview every imam in America about his view on "gay marriage".
ReplyDeleteBravo! Finally, recognition that passive resistance may be what it takes to change the focus of our Government representatives. Both major Parties respond only to major stimulation, especially financial. We need to get their attention, and there are many ways to do it peacefully Contributing to alternate primary candidates sends a huge message, and only a small donation will count in the statistics.
ReplyDeleteOnce a few of us make any protest effort and indicate opposition to policies that just became accepted, because no one bothered to complain, our friends and neighbors will start to see the light. The teacher's story, above, needs to be publicized; it is wonderful news that most Americans will celebrate.
"How to" discussions should be conducted on other, less valuable, sites. They can easily be shut down and moved and no harm done if the rhetoric becomes "heavy".
Any discussion of violent resistance has to shouted down. History reveals that revolutions are the greatest source of tyrants, and it is hard to think of one that did not make things worse. Think Castro, Stalin, Hugo Chavez, Franco, etc.
Freedom isn't free, as they say. You can see it, yourself, that people, esp. parents, are too busy to see what is happening in their children's' schools. If they can be made to see the radicalization in the curriculum, they'll pay attention.
Google "redistributive justice" and you will see a new course teachers are going to have to have to take in their continuing education. Starting soon in NYC and San Francisco, naturally.
Regards,
We can certainly make a difference. Look at the LGBT community. Talk about punching above their weight. The Left likes to claim they are 10% of the population, but they are a tiny "smidgen" of it. From the Washington Post:
ReplyDeleteBy Eugene Volokh July 15, 2014
"A survey released Tuesday by the the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports:
Based on the 2013 NHIS data [collected in 2013 from 34,557 adults aged 18 and over], 96.6% of adults identified as straight, 1.6% identified as gay or lesbian, and 0.7% identified as bisexual. The remaining 1.1% of adults identified as “something else[]” [0.2%,] stated “I don’t know the answer[]” [0.4%] or refused to provide an answer [0.6%].
More specifically, 1.8 percent of men self-identify as gay and 0.4 percent as bisexual, and 1.5 percent of women self-identify as lesbian and 0.9 percent as bisexual..."
The Left can have them, and for some reason, I am not bothered that SCOTUS gave them the right to say they're "married". There is no "gay gene" and they are not mutations, so they can't multiply, without both X and Y chromosomes and the connection. They give us a great example of how change can be forced by only a very few who are able to make alliances to their benefit.
Let there be no more "whining" and let us commit to speaking out and supporting those who are willing to buck the system and do "the People's work".
Amen.
Let's consider Republican politicians' "needs" for money and votes.
ReplyDelete1. When we consider the deep pockets of big business, what alternative group can outbid them for the attentions of the politicians?
2. When we consider the politicians' belief that Republican voters will hold their noses and vote for them---despite the many betrayals---because the Democrats are scarier, how do we demonstrate that conservative principles + conservative actions will bring in more total votes?
When I'm ready to give up, Daniel writes something like this. Bless your heart, Daniel Greenfield.
ReplyDeleteI just now read some of the latter comments and, bouncing off of ideas made by DenisO and RAM--coupled with the theme of the post as presented by Mr. Greenfield, I just had a thought occur to me: Why don’t we middle-America, middle-class, MAJORITY get together and use some of the tactics that the Left has used over the last few decades? The easiest of which would be to boycott certain products. We could start with Tylenol. I am appalled at how they can show their “#howwefamily” [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c33dTK7nUqo] ads during “family viewing hour”. (Do we even have that any more?) Perhaps I should just call it prime-time. My wife and I have a young child in our home, and I find it upsetting to see images of homosexual unions as being normal. It is not normative behavior, but it is portrayed as such. Or Dove--again showing this commercial in prime time--is promoting deviant, non-normative behavior as the norm. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0-5HORRXU0] And...mark my words here...in the not too distant future, we will be hearing politicos lecturing us that homosexual people are BETTER than heterosexual people. I have mentioned that I am a public high-school teacher. In one of our recent students newspapers, there was an article that homosexuals and the homosexual “lifestyle” is better than that of straight couples. A couple of arguments were that homosexuals don’t multiply while engaging in sexual activity, therefore putting less strain on our planet Earth; and that homosexuals are “strong” because of their sexual orientation. While you may dismiss this because it comes only from a student-run paper, I say that this is a premonition of mainstream thought in the not-too distant future. It is about time we wake up and fight against the constant, insidious assault of the Left to disrupt and utterly destroy society. Left to their own devices, the Left would create total anomie in our society. (Does anyone remember the 60’s? Pro-drugs, pro-indiscriminate sex, etc. “Bring it all down, man.”) I am not familiar with social media, but perhaps one of you out there, if you are so inclined, can start a campaign to boycott Dove and/orTylenol. This would be a start. And as we are the vast majority of the people (at least as of now), we could send a powerful message to the commercial/political complex.

I had one idea and it's small. Go to your local Apple or Microsoft store. Use a computer or phone or tablet and go to a page like this one and leave it up and leave. I did it the other day.
ReplyDeleteI just posted this on one of Hillary Clinton FB page:
ReplyDeleteThe % of Americans that are homosexual is less than 2%
Since my triumphs over the Left agenda are few and far between, I will summarize one more: It is regarding the book Drama, by Raina Telgemeier. Our 4th-grader got the book from his school library and was reading it at home as an assignment. I researched it online, did not like what I found, and quickly read through the book. (It is a comic-book--a so-called “graphic novel--so it was easy to read.) I suggest to all of you parents out there to research any and all books your children bring home because there are a lot of hidden messages meant to indoctrinate your child. The Left agenda is insidious and constant. Pravda has nothing on U.S. media/cultural indoctrination. I wrote the teacher--no response. I wrote the librarian--no response other than she wrote back to us telling us that she “brought the principal in the loop and that the principal will be calling us soon”. After a few days of no calls from the principal, I wrote the principal, who told me she had heard nothing of this, BTW. So my basic argument is that there are quite a number of questionable passages in the book, but I will limit my discussion to the one secreted drawing: I found only two drawings of male/female kissing. One was a pucker-up kiss (pg. 110) while the other was depicted with physical space between their faces (pg. 217). On the contrary, the male/male kiss (pg. 188) was open mouth with an embrace! My biggest problem with the book is that there is no mention of the overt homosexual content in the book on the book description. Its message is hidden from parents. Even the photo on the back cover appears to be a girl kissing a boy, but it is really a boy who dressed up as a girl in order to kiss the boy he finds "cute". But one must read the book to figure that out. Of course the children who read the book will know it is two boys kissing. This appears to be subterfuge in order to indoctrinate young readers to the "normality" of homosexuality.
ReplyDeleteThe covert inculcation of sexuality that the book is promulgating is dubious and spurious. I support the exchange of ideas, but when they are done surreptitiously, discussion is cut off. It is now indoctrination, NOT education. I do not advocate censorship, but I do not condone agitprop and hidden agendas, either. After reading through the book myself, it is clear to me that the writer and publisher are engaging in covert, surreptitious behavior. My wife and I had to meet with the principal. She ultimately decided to pull the book off the shelf.

The so called left are just running interference for all the crimes that have and will be committed by this regime Last count I saw was something like 290 prosecutable crimes including murder. This article totally ignores that rule of law does not exist anymore.
ReplyDeleteGiven some of DG's posting's on Zimmerman's Hispanic ethnicity cum race, I assume DG feels otherwise, but "Hispanic" is a Federally defined designation for people who self-identify as having roots in Spain and its American colonies. Did not the Pope designate most of America as Spain's? I think, therfore I am..... a Spanish speaking heir of Spanish speakers expelled from Spain in 1492 --> Hispanic ethnicity. ...born in the Carolinas, formerly under the Spanish crown --> Hispanic
ReplyDeleteIf that jump is too much,,why not write "mixed race"? Are we not all in that ballpark? Human race or non-Cro Magnum?
MG
No mustache, no lease.
ReplyDeleteDenisO stated that gays can't multiply, but unfortunately he is wrong. They can adopt children and indoctrinate them, physically, as well as mentally. They can do the same as teachers, as Boy and Girl Scout leaders, as ministers, psychologists, daycare providers, etc., etc. Our kindergartens and grade schools and high schools have been promoting aberrant sexual behavior as normal, going so far as to encourage touching between same-sex children.
ReplyDeleteMany professional people - doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, "bio-ethicists" - are pushing to have pedophilia dropped from the DSM V (a manual of psychological disorders accepted and used throughout the realm of psychiatry), so it will be looked at as acceptable "normal" behavior. The assault by the Left upon the Judeo-Christian moral code is on-going, and they are indoctrinating our children/grandchildren into a culture of behavior that - if successful - will produce a generation of LGBT even without having the children themselves.
