  Ask some Israelis about the war in Gaza and they can sound pessimistic. The war is a slog. It can’t keep on going. International critics complain that the war has no clear goalposts (beyond destroying Hamas) and is inherently unwinnable. What does victory even look like? There’s one metric that they seem to have overlooked. In 2023, 70% of ‘Palestinians’ thought that Hamas was going to win. Today, only 43% do. After the Oct 7 attacks, 72% of them thought that the Hamas attack was a good idea. Today only half still do. The number of those who admit it was a bad idea rose from 22% to 40%. In Gaza, 58% now acknowledge that Oct 7 was a mistake. And these numbers have been steadily and consistently dropping as the war goes on. Among the enemy population, victory is no longer an option and most hope for a ceasefire. 43% are willing to leave the Gaza Strip. 50%, a majority, are willing to ask Israel for help to leave. Things are not happy in Monterey County. The California county, which Kamala won by 63%, is considered a ‘sanctuary’ for illegal aliens by the Department of Homeland Security. But that sanctuary status was recently violated and local officials are outraged. So is the Solidarity Network: a pro-illegal alien group that ‘monitors’ immigration enforcement arrests. From 2018 and 2024, the politicians and bureaucrats in Washington D.C. arranged for the ‘resettlement’ of 6,299 ‘refugees’ in Maryland. Nearly 1 in 5 of them came from the Islamic terror state of Afghanistan and 1 in 10 came from the equally violent and dangerous terrorist state of Syria. Nearly 70% spoke no English. The second most common language was Arabic. However in Washington D.C., once part of the state and likely to be part of it again if retrocession reform advocates get their way, only 73 ‘refugees’ were resettled in 6 years. The Immigration Research Initiative listed an even smaller number in D.C. of 66 in ten years . There is no information on those lucky 73 or 66. Amnesty International, Greenpeace and Code Pink signed a petition demanding that the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation stop handing out food to Gaza’s Arab Muslim settlers. The Center for Constitutional Rights, a Communist-founded group which on Oct 7, declared that it “stands in solidarity” in response to “Palestinian armed resistance”, demanded that GHF “cease” handing out millions of free meals to Muslims or face charges of “genocide” and “war crimes”. The only thing worse than bombing terrorists in Gaza is giving away food in Gaza. “It is immoral and inhuman when those committing the genocide take responsibility to feed those whom they have starved,” the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights complained. “This initiative of what’s called a foundation, a private foundation, to supply food, is what I see as outrageous,” UN official Navi Pillay fumed.  On Nov 13, 2015, Muslim terrorists attacked a concert at the Bataclan theater in Paris, opening fire on the crowd while shouting, “Allah Akbar.” The Muslim attackers took 20 hostages, killed 90 concertgoers and left hundreds wounded. A year later the theater reopened under new ownership with ‘Insallah’ or ‘If Allah Wills” by Sting to support the Muslim migrants invading Europe.   On July 4th, Boston will rid its city council of another foreign enemy occupier. It took a while. In 2019, future Councilwoman Tania Fernandes Anderson, a former illegal alien, became an American citizen. In 2021, she was elected to Boston’s city council.   Last year, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, despite being in her early 50s and having an undistinguished career before her affirmative action appointment, published a memoir. You might be forgiven for having missed it when “Lovely One” came out. As the media politely notes, it was “briefly” on the New York Times bestseller list and is now going for half price on Amazon. That is mostly to be expected of the ghostwritten memoir of an obscure judge. Except that Jackson received a $893,750 advance for her memoir and is now reporting $2 million in profits last year. These would be record numbers for a Supreme Court Justice’s biography from a book that hardly anyone had noticed when it came out. And while books can become unexpected successes once released, there was little sign of that happening. The actual sales figures have not been made public and perhaps ‘Lovely One’ sold millions of copies even while hardly anyone noticed before ending up in the remainder bin a year...

After Muslim terrorists attacked the St. Elias church in Damascus, killing 25 Christians and wounding over 60 others, there were more questions than answers about the attack. While the official Syrian government position is that it was a lone ISIS gunman, Christian witnesses report multiple attackers, and in Syria, ISIS is a term that conceals more than it reveals. Especially when the government is run by members of Islamic terrorist groups with their own ties to Al Qaeda and ISIS.   After Zohran Mamdani secured the Democrat nomination for mayor, millions of people around the country are wondering how the city that lived through 9/11 could have done this? The answer is it didn’t. Less than 30% of Democrats voted in the mayoral primary. Of those, supposedly, 43.5% voted for Mamdani. So some 12.9% of New York Democrats voted for Mamdani. 56% of registered voters in the city are Democrats so some 7.2% of city residents voted for him. New York City has a population of 8.2 million. Of those 432,305 or 5% voted for Mamdani. This isn’t a mandate. It’s a city that tuned out the election because it saw no one worth voting for and ceded the playing field to radicals and extremists. The media is doing its best to hype those numbers as a stunning mandate when what they really represent are high levels of turnout by Mamadani’s base and low turnout by everyone else.
