Four years ago a white man choking a black man in a major city, his death, the subsequent trial and a failure to convict would have led to non-stop media coverage and equally non-stop rioting. Instead, New York BLM leader Hawk Newsome (pictured above) accompanied by a few pals, some elderly black people and a handful of white girls in keffiyahs hung around outside the downtown Manhattan courthouse like groupies for some band that had broken up years ago. New Hampshire Attorney General John M. Formella recently filed civil rights charges against a Neo-Nazi group which had been protesting outside a drag event at a cafe. In December, Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell filed civil rights charges against the same group for harassing drag events and migrant housing facilities. Campbell claimed that the Nationalist Social Club had “engaged in a concerted attempt to target and terrorize people across Massachusetts and interfere with their rights.” The National Socialists didn’t actually do anything more (and arguably less) than BLM and Hamas supporters have spent the last three years doing to people around the country. Over the last decade, BLM, and assorted leftist and libertarian groups dismantled our criminal justice system. Police forces were defunded, pro-crime prosecutors refused to lock up criminals, federal and state prison systems released tens of thousands of them, and a wave of legislative decriminalization legalized everything from shoplifting, to drug dealing and mugging. Between May and June 2020, heroic PPD police officers, outnumbered, outmatched and with no support from local officials, battled the violent hateful BLM mobs rampaging through West Philly. The racist mobs looted small businesses in the mostly black area, destroying lives and livelihoods, while assaulting police officers and anyone who tried to get in their way.
